Highest-quality materials, meticulous craftsmanship, timeless design as well as removable and renewable covers make brühl furniture particularly sustainable and long-lived companions. Despite all this, even with good care, wear and tear may occur over time, making refurbishment necessary.
Here, it is worth noticing that brühl furniture are not only fitted with removable and renewable covers. The other components of the pieces can also be replaced, refurbished, or repaired. Professionally refurbished at our manufacture, a brühl seating is practically as good as new, even after many years of use.
With the aim of successively moving towards a circular economy, our care and repair offers serve the purpose of avoiding unnecessary new purchases and unnecessary disposal and reducing the consumption of energy and resources. For us, this is a step towards the common goal of sustainably preserving the planet’s natural resources for the future.

Replacement covers

Wherever possible, our seating is fitted with removable and renewable covers. In addition, many of covers are washable or dry-cleanable. Replacement covers are manufactured according to individual user requirements. Thanks to their specific design, the covers can be changed by the user herself/himself. Alternatively, the seating can be recovered at our manufacture in Bad Steben. Here, it is also possible to recover models with fixed covers.
Replacing the covers is not only a good idea when they are damaged or worn out. What do you do if the colour does not match the new interior after relocation? Or if, after a long period of time, you simply wish to give your seating a different style? In this case, replacing the covers can avoid having to buy a new seating. When replacing the covers, a change from textile to leather, or vice versa, is always possible.

Replacing only a part of the covers

Most pieces of brühl furniture are fitted with multi-piece covers that can be removed and replaced separately. If a cover has only been damaged or dirtied in one place, it may well suffice to replace only the cover of the part in question. Due to their design, many pieces of brühl furniture also offer the possibility of fitting certain parts of the seating, such as rest elements, with covers in a contrasting colour or material, thus adding individual design accents – because sometimes a small change is enough to give a piece of furniture a completely new appearance.

Replacement and renewal of seat cushions

With every brühl seating, the upholstery can be refurbished or replaced – while the durable basic frame remains in use. Sometimes it is enough to just renew the fleece cover to achieve a softer seating comfort or a fuller upholstery volume. If the cushions are replaced, the seating comfort is then as good as new. brühl models like easy pieces forever or lofoten pure make such refurbishments particularly easy: they have been deliberately constructed from nothing more than a durable basic frame and loose cushions and are therefore particularly easy to refurbish.

Replacing defective functional fittings

Multi-functional models such as lofoten lounge, roro, moule, four-two or fold out offer smooth-running conversion mechanisms like lowerable arm-and backrests, swivel seats that can be swivelled by 90 degrees, pull-out tables or side rest elements that can be pulled forward. Our expertise in the developing and constantly improving of these fittings spans more than 30 years. In the unlikely event of a fitting losing its smooth functionality over time, it is always possible to replace it. The function is thereby fully restored.
