BEST OF DESIGN AWARD 2022 for sofa magnolia by Kati Meyer-Brühl
Since 2021, the editors of SCHÖNER WOHNEN have been awarding the BEST OF DEISGN AWARD for the best new designs of the year ion the categories furniture and accessories.
Kati Meyer-Brühl is awarded the prize for the design magnolia. The decorative, soft seating furniture with a fresh, yet also familiar design language combine airiness and opulence, artful craftsmanship and – thanks to durable, eco-friendly materials and removable covers – future-oriented values such as ecology and sustainability.
Created by versatile designer Kati-Meyer-Brühl, magnolia documents her unmistakably lively and always surprising design language.
SCHÖNER WOHNEN is Europe’s largest interior design magazine. Not only design plays a role in the awards; aspects such as sustainability, ergonomics or functionality also flow into the evaluation.
